Inclusive Care Options Ltd
Reporting Year: April 2025 – March 2026
This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps Inclusive Care Options Ltd has taken and is continuing to take to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place within our organisation or supply chains.
a. Organisational Structure, Business, and Supply Chains
Inclusive Care Options Ltd is a CQC-registered specialist care provider delivering domiciliary and complex care services across London and surrounding regions. Our services are commissioned by NHS bodies, local authorities, and private clients. Our supply chains include HR and recruitment partners, training providers, office suppliers, and equipment providers, most of whom operate within the UK.
b. Policies in Relation to Slavery and Human Trafficking
We have a Zero-Tolerance Policy on modern slavery and human trafficking, which is supported by our:
-
Safeguarding Adults and Children Policy
-
Whistleblowing Policy
-
Recruitment and Employment Policy
-
Ethical Procurement Guidance
All policies are reviewed annually or in response to legislative or operational changes.
c. Due Diligence Processes
We conduct due diligence when:
-
Recruiting staff (including Right to Work and DBS checks)
-
Engaging new suppliers (requiring confirmation of compliance with the Modern Slavery Act)
-
Entering partnerships with third-party providers (e.g., staff agencies and training companies)
Suppliers are assessed for ethical conduct, UK registration, and fair employment practices.
d. Risk Assessment and Management
Areas of potential risk include:
-
Use of external recruitment agencies
-
Procurement of low-cost goods or services
We mitigate these risks through: -
Working only with approved suppliers and agencies that confirm compliance with UK employment law
-
Conducting periodic checks and declarations
-
Requiring contract clauses that forbid exploitative labour practices
e. Effectiveness and Performance Monitoring
Our effectiveness is monitored through:
-
100% of staff undergoing employment eligibility checks
-
Annual policy audits
-
No reported concerns or breaches relating to slavery or human trafficking to date
-
Regular reviews of supplier contracts and declarations
We are developing internal KPIs around training completion, supplier audits, and incident reporting.
f. Training and Capacity Building
All staff, including managers, receive annual training on:
-
Safeguarding and whistleblowing
-
Recognising signs of modern slavery
-
Reporting concerns through appropriate channels
Modern slavery awareness is also covered in staff induction and our Safeguarding training modules.
Inclusive Care Options Ltd is committed to continuous improvement in this area. If any new risks or practices are identified, we will take prompt action to address them and ensure ethical standards are maintained.
This statement has been approved by the Director and will be reviewed annually.
